Neomarica northiana, also known as the Walking iris is a flowering plant, native to Brazil, with rhizomatous rootstock of the small genus of Neomarica, related to the large Iris family. It is commonly grown in parks for landscaping and ornamental uses.
It flowers in April in Hong Kong, and has even naturalized in Hong Kong. Neomarica northiana grows well in many kinds of soils and grows best under shady and slightly humid conditions.
